1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using RailKM you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Use of the service
RailKM is provided for personal and professional trip planning. You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at a rate that degrades availability, or republish its results as official Indian Railways data.
3. Distance accuracy disclaimer
Distances shown are the shortest track route by total kilometres, derived from open timetable data. They are indicative reference values and may differ slightly from published timetables, train-specific routes or official figures. Distances are not a guarantee of any particular train's route.
4. Fare estimates disclaimer
Fare figures are approximate estimates based on standard Indian Railways distance slabs. Actual fares vary by train type, class, distance slab, dynamic pricing, reservation charges, superfast surcharges and GST. Fare estimates are for planning only and are not a quote.
5. No affiliation
RailKM is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Indian Railways, IRCTC or any government body. RailKM does not sell tickets or provide live train status.
6. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RailKM and its maintainers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the service or its results.
8. Data attribution
Railway data is derived from open timetable data published byDataMeet. Attribution remains with the original data providers.
9. Intellectual property
The RailKM name, interface, design and code are protected. You may use the results for personal and professional planning, but may not copy or redistribute the service's code or branding without permission.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
